Understanding Your Stats

Understanding Your Stats

Trading Blitz tracks your performance across every trade you place. Your stats dashboard gives you a clear picture of how you are progressing and where you might have room to improve.

Note - Stats are updated when you click Next Chart for charts that you've taken trades. Skipping charts without taking a trade will not affect your statistics.

Here is a breakdown of every metric and what it means.

Dashboard Stats (All Members)

Total Profit / Loss

The total amount of money you have earned or lost since resetting your Game History.

Win Rate

Your win rate is the percentage of completed trades that closed profitably. It is calculated as: wins divided by total trades, multiplied by 100.

Example: 65 wins out of 100 trades = 65% win rate.

A win rate above 50% means you are right more often than you are wrong, but win rate alone does not determine whether you are profitable.

Profit Factor

Your profit factor is your total gross profit divided by your total gross loss. It tells you how much you earn for every dollar you lose.

Example: $3,000 gross profit / $2,000 gross loss = 1.5 profit factor.

A profit factor above 1.0 means you are ahead overall. A profit factor above 1.5 may indicate a meaningful edge. Anything below 1.0 means losses are outpacing gains.

Average Holding Period

Represents the average number of days you hold a position.

Total Trades

The total number of completed trades on your account. Skipped charts are not counted.

  • Average Win/Loss — your average dollar win and loss across all winning and losing trades, respectively.
  • Win/Loss Streaks — your longest winning and losing streaks, useful for identifying consistency patterns
  • Performance by Chart Pattern — how your win rate and profit factor break down across different chart filter patterns (e.g., breakouts vs. pullbacks)
  • Performance by Market Cap — see whether you perform better on large-cap, mid-cap, or small-cap charts
  • Performance by Volume Filter — analyze results across different volume conditions
  • Return Over Time — a timeline view of your cumulative return across all trades
